Shipping policy

The Humanoids Store is operated by Humanoids Studios SA. U.S. website, customer-service, logistics, and fulfillment support may be provided by Global Arts Services LLC on behalf of Humanoids Studios SA.

To reduce shipping costs and customs delays where possible, Humanoids ships from multiple locations based on item availability, release timing, and your delivery address.

Processing time

In-stock orders are usually processed within 3-7 business days after payment confirmation. We do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays. Carriers may deliver on their own schedules.

Preorders and subscriptions ship according to the estimated timing shown on the product page. Estimated dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated. If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, or if no timeframe applies and we cannot ship within the legally required period, we will notify you and provide delay, cancellation, or refund options as required by applicable law.

Shipping origins and destinations

United States orders

Usually ship from the United States.

Canada orders

Usually ship from Canada when inventory is available.

European Union orders

Preorder items and subscriptions may ship from France when purchased far enough in advance of release. This may reduce shipping costs and customs issues for EU customers. If local EU fulfillment is not available, the item may ship from the United States or another location, and customs duties or import taxes may apply.

United Kingdom orders

May ship from the United States or France, depending on availability, timing, and logistics.

Rest of world orders

May ship from the United States, France, or another available fulfillment location.

Transit times are estimates and do not include order processing time, customs review, weather delays, carrier delays, local delivery exceptions, or other events outside our control.

Polybag and Standard packaging

Polybag is the lower-cost packaging option. It uses lighter packaging and does not include tracking. It may be appropriate for softcovers or periodical-style shipments, but it provides less protection than Standard packaging.

By choosing Polybag, you acknowledge that the shipment will travel with lighter packaging and no tracking, and you accept the increased risk of damage during shipment. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Humanoids is not responsible for damage that occurs during shipment when Polybag has been selected, and Polybag shipments are not eligible for refunds, replacements, or credits for shipping-related damage. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law or any remedy for an incorrect item.

Standard is the regular packaging option. It may use protective packaging, such as protective mailers, bubble wrap, or sturdy boxes, depending on the item. Tracking may be included depending on the carrier and point of origin.

Minor cosmetic wear or other shipping-related damage may occur during shipment. Please see the Refund Policy for the difference between minor cosmetic wear and significant damage.

Customs, duties, and import taxes

For international orders, customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees, and similar charges may be assessed by the destination country or carrier. These charges are the customer’s responsibility unless checkout expressly states that they are prepaid or included.

If a package is refused because of unpaid customs charges, any refund will be determined after the package is returned to us and inspected, subject to applicable law. Original shipping charges, return shipping charges, carrier fees, and customs-related charges may be deducted where permitted by law.

Non-book merchandise

Some low-cost book shipping services, including USPS Media Mail, are available only for books. If your cart includes non-book merchandise, checkout may show a different shipping method and a higher shipping cost.

Lost, delayed, or missing packages

If you think your package is lost, email store@humanoids.com with your order number.

If tracking shows “Delivered,” please check with the carrier, local post office, neighbors, building reception, or mailroom first. We will review delivered-but-missing claims case by case, but we cannot guarantee replacement or refund where the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
